A few months ago I created a rod for my back when I started cutting the children’s toast in to funny shapes. Today James wanted a volcano. A damn volcano!

Day of rest? No chance!
The clocks went forward overnight so various timepieces around the house showed conflicting times depending on whether or not they’re connected to the internet. As a result, the day started with the usual confusion about what the time actually was.

The main excitement for the day revolved around Genevieve’s new bike. But before she could ride the bike I had to unpack and assemble it.

The morning started with another Munchkin Sport exercise routine. I’ve just noticed that the sessions are called “Shake Off The Crazy”, but both Genevieve and James were still just as crazy once they’d finished. Perhaps I can make a claim under the Trade Descriptions Act?

I’ve often heard that Thursday is the new Friday, but does that hold true when the days are all blurring in to one? It certainly does in the Smith house as we had a whale of a time today.
Does it count as hump day if you can’t leave the house?
The morning started with a vigorous exercise lead by Munchkin Sport. I couldn’t get the iPad to work, so Genevieve worked out in front of my laptop on top of the dishwasher.
How is it only Tuesday?
Here we are – it’s the second day of the week. And yet, somehow it feels like at least Wednesday. Should I be concerned that it’s only day two but it’s already blurring in to one “mega day”?

I’m happy to report that we survived! Day 1 of home schooling and home pre-schooling has been challenging but the Smiths don’t shirk from something just because it’s difficult.
